A golf program for family of RCSCW resident members has begun. This program is intended to assist our residents who have golfing family members visit. Benefits include a price break at $34.00 for each guest family member, and the ability to reserve advanced tee times from 30 days to 8 days prior to the day of play. This would assure that there is a confirmed tee-time for the family, and would be of benefit in scheduling activities during family visits. This program also recognizes that in most cases, the resident member is the one that “foot’s the bill” during such visits. This program is only available at the Member Services office.
The program will work as follows.
- The Member Services office will administer this program.
- This program is not available at the golf courses.
- The resident member can make a tee-time request as follows:
- On regulation courses that allow fivesomes: up to 10 individuals, including member, spouse, and family member guests.
- On regulation courses that allow foursomes only and on all executive courses: up to 8 individuals, including member, spouse, and family member guests.
- Requests for play will be accepted from 30 days down to 8 days prior to day of play.
- The resident member will complete a tee time request form containing the following:
- Member name and member number, also spouse if playing with the group.
- Family member names.
- Name of golf course, date and time of play requested.
- The tee-time request will be processed and the tee-time input staff will call the requestor to confirm the time and date of play.
- Attempts will be made to provide the exact time requested. If other members have requested the same tee-time, the tee-time may vary up to 30 minutes before or after the requested time.
- The resident member will pay $34.00 at the time of the tee time request for each of the non-member family tee-times requested.
- The resident member will pay their personal normal fee at the golf course when checking in, although the resident member tee-time will be requested with the group.
- The Member Services office will provide a receipt for the prepayment of the non-member family member guest fees.
- When checking in to play, the resident member will provide to the starter the receipt for the prepaid family member guest fees. This is the payment record and must be presented to the starter so your family member guests can play.
- Cancellations will be accepted up to 4 days in advance of play.
- If you have to cancel, and you do it 4 days in advance of play, you may do the following:
- Retain your receipt for use up to one year from date of purchase, and use it toward a new request; or
- Return your receipt to the Member Services office and submit a written request for a full refund, provided the cancellation was 4 days prior to the date of play.
